ARES Graphics Card Priced at Rs. 1 Lakh launched in India Asus-Ares-video-card
Asus Republic of Gamers have launched ARES graphic card in India at the price of Rs. 1 Lakh in India. The ARES graphic card uses ATI Radeon HD 5870 graphics X2 graphic engine, which optimizes the joint performance up to 32 percent. ARES has 3200 stream processors and 4GB of GDDR5 RAM clocked at 1.2GHz.

With a heavy duty gaming graphic card like this cooling becomes very important. In order to ensure this, Asus has put in a 100mm fan that pushes six times the air mass. ROG has also implemented in ARES the recent Asus move towards copper in cooling; slapping two outsized oxygen-free, all-copper heatsinks and no less than eight 8mm copper heat sinks on the board.

The ARES graphic card has memory clock of 4800MHz and two 256-bit memory interface. It supports the maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600. The ARES graphic card comes along with ROG gaming mouse and is backed by 3 years warranty.
